ANAGNOSTOPOULOS RESEARCH GROUP
The Environmental Radiochemistry Group at UCF, led by Dr. Vasileios Anagnostopoulos, focuses on fundamental and applied aspects of Radiochemistry and Environmental Chemistry.
The main research interests are the fate of contaminants (radionuclides, heavy metals and organic molecules) in the environment, radioactive waste management and the development of materials for radionuclide retardation in the natural environment or waste repositories.
Contaminant Fate in the Environment
Mineral - Water Interfacial Chemistry
Radionuclide Fate Under Geological Repository Conditions
Incorporation of Radionuclides in Minerals and Low - Solubility Phases
We are seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Research Associate! The position is funded by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the field of Environmental Radiochemistry and Waste Forms. For more information and how to apply, please click on the file below.
